We really enjoyed this family run restaurant! Mom cooked, dad tended the bar and the daughter who served us was very sweet and gracious. The food was tasty and they had quite good prices: I had the salmon menu with fish soup and my husband had meatballs. It tasted like home cooking in the best way like the tasty food your Norwegian grandma would make. : We were there on the last weekend they were open for the season, and I was glad to have a good food option other than the one large hotel in town.

Probably the best value for money from Kviknes Hotel. Very good food and good selection of beer and cider wines. The cone is the overwhelming smell of fried foods that literally get into your clothes.

Family race. Very pleasant inside. Great host/owner. We had the salmon and the meatballs. Both excellent.
