Il Faro Restaurant Bar - Baldwin

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Il Faro for the first time. Since we live nearby, we've been wondering why we hadn’t discovered this wonderful restaurant sooner. We truly enjoyed our experience there. The food was outstanding; I highly recommend the fried calamari and the cold antipasti (although I think they should replace the deli-style provolone with some good sharp chunk provolone). The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. The owner greeted us personally and made sure to check in on us regularly without being intrusive. When the bill arrived, we were pleasantly surprised—it was very reasonable, and the owner even treated us to a round of drinks. On Thursday nights, they feature a solo singer, which is a nice touch. I encourage you to check it out, and I bet you'll agree. We will definitely be returning!
