Sonic Drive-in - Bakersfield

I really appreciated the convenience of being able to drive up, use a napkin to press the button, and pay with my credit card right from my parking spot. The staff were safe and wore masks while also maintaining distance when handing me my food. They were kind and courteous throughout the process. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, and I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I recently tried the new grilled cheese sandwich, which is more like a cheeseburger served on thick, grilled bread. Just to clarify, the burger itself isn’t grilled, which I think limits the flavor compared to places like Carl's Jr. (though their prices are steep and the customer service is terrible) or Burger King. However, the overall taste was fantastic, and for just $3.99, the size of the sandwich was impressive. If you're a fan of a good burger, I definitely recommend trying it!

I visit almost every day for my Route 44 iced tea with extra ice. I really appreciate all the staff, especially the ladies and Chino Mike!
