Ortega's Charburgers - Bakersfield

When I approached the speaker, I noticed a car at the window, and I saw the lady in the drive-thru chatting with the person at the window while waiting for her order. While it's nice to see some friendly interaction, I felt it detracted from their efficiency. When I reached the window, only half of my order was ready, and I didn't have time to wait for the rest since I had to return to work. I can't shake the feeling that if she had focused more on getting the order right instead of chatting and smiling at the guy, my order would have been correct.

I absolutely love this place! The service is friendly and the food is delicious. I visit at least once a week.

The food is great, and the service is quick. If you see long lines, it’s worth checking out—people are on the streets waiting to get in!

The prices are very good enough food, only today the checkout had no good day. Every other time we have a smile

We stopped at Ortegas for bkfst. My husband and I ordered Bkfst burritos (chorizo and All bkfst meats) the burritos were a good size.. And overall were ok, the hashbrowns were a lil mushy and we were only given one salsa. The service was friendly and overall welcoming... If i ever hit Bakersfield again id give em another try thou. There menu looked good and it seems a lot of people go there because they were busy so that tells me that the locals like it..
