La Mina Cantina - Bakersfield

Ordered the family pack of chili verde and it was 90% pure fat. It was horrible. The worst chili verde I ever tasted. Had the taste of metal.

The food and service were excellent. I will eat here again.

We loved it! The best mocajete 4 meats cheese some veggies w/red mild chili sauce smothered in a hot rock bowl. I'd go bk. I can't wait to go back. I had the chilie relleno. It was delish! U can ask for extra cheese they do have Sunday brunch buffet :

This 1 star is based on yesterday's visit and only on our dinners service. Who knows if they were short staffed? It did seem that only one waitress was taking and bringing orders, even though we saw multiple staff. On the kids' menu, it says on Thursdays, kids eat free. On our receipt, we were charged for our child's food and drink. My husband didn't want me to say anything, so of course we paid. Our food took a while to come out, and what we got was not that good. Food looked as if it sat for a while, and all of it was bland, including the guacamole.Michelada looked good, but it was just alright.I was just disappointed, disappointed on the food, on the wait, on the staff.....
