L'Orange Bistro - Baie-Saint-Paul

Having just spent 6 nights in the area, we tried as many restaurants as we could while we were there.

This place is the biggest joke of a restaurant there isIt shouldn't even be qualified to be a restaurant because I don't believe they have a chef.

We were drawn to this restaurant for its sunny exterior overlooking the street. very disappointed in the quality of the food. Too expensive. We liked the cheese pasta. The sangria tasted like juice, with extra sugar added in.

The restaurant has a two course lunch menu (starting from $15). The appetizer carrot soup was good, but I was not impressed by the mains. My salmon poke bowl ($15) was a little off, with cooked smoked salmon, corn and beans. The beef tartar ($16) was good, but the portion was too small, looked like an appetizer. Service was nice and the place is well located.
