The Shrimp Shack - Bago Bantay

Since it's pretty new in the area. We went ahead and tried this resto out. We were disappointed with the serving size of Surf &Turf (Php330). It's not good for sharing. The meat was like 2 teaspoons portioning and there were 5 pcs of shrimp. Not happy with it. Alfredo & Shrimp (Php190) It was creamy but lacked seasoning.

The Old Spaghetti House had a month-long Pasta All You Can Anniversary Special last September. For just 149php, you can have unlimited servings of pasta (choose from Vietnamese Garlic, Pesto, Pomodoro, Arabiatta, Bacon Alfredo and Aglio Olio) . For an additional 50php, you can also avail the Unlimited Pizza promo. This was just too good a deal so we didn't pass the chance and went here for dinner. The place was already full when we got there but luckily, there was one empty table outside. The server asked if we want to sit there and we said we didn't mind. I wasn't supposed to avail the unli pizza but then I saw the pizza spread and I changed my mind. Don't expect too much from the pasta - honestly, it was just noodles with pasta sauce. I've been craving for pesto so we've decided to dine here. This isn't our first time at TOSH and we ordered the same set as what we had the last time we ate here. Pesto with Grilled Chicken for me and Spaghetti with Meatballs for my Circuited Soul. We also had their 11 inch Four Cheese Pizza. Pesto is good but the Spaghetti with meatballs is outstanding. I love the sauce which was made from scratch, love that I can chew chunks of onions and tomatoes while eating and the meatballs is really tasty. For me, their pizza is one of the best I've ever tasted. Thin crust, it is very crunchy and cheesy and no umay factor. We finished 8 slices all by ourselves. haha We've also tried their Potatoes and Beef with Gravy pizza before and I also love that flavor! Will I go back here? For sure!

I think this place is good for ordinary dates. It's not as crowded nor noisy just like the other restaurants at the mall. Their food were above average when it comes to taste, not something I would crave for. Red sauce was quite sour. The Staffs are efficient and friendly.

I'll always come back to this restaurant. Food is good, price is just right. Their vietnamese style garlic spaghetti is really satisfying with or without the shrimps. Also love their pasta negra, I didnt become sick unlike when I ate the one in Earth Kitchen so long time ago.. (still love Earth Kitchen, though! Just not ordering pasta negra ever coz it might not be a fave on the menu so it's not fresh)
