Ratskeller Bad Sulza

We weren't really excited. A bit stressed out the food was not great and since it was Christmas we would have liked to have eaten an ice cup at the end. Missing. But the ambience is beautiful.

By chance we came to this restaurant in the Advent season 2015 and annoyed us a little that we did not already discover it. Yes, there is not so much light in the modernly decorated cellar vault, but there was a very tasty food (Gänsekeule with Thüringer Klößen, Schweinbraten), served by the top service friendly, attentive and fast. We can recommend this restaurant!

Ambience super, operation friendly but certainly not from specialist. The dishes are good medium. But the prices are too high.

During the visit to the Ratskeller, we were given the impression that we as guests were unhappy, although tables were still free. The three operators were very overwhelmed with the seven occupied tables, including a larger table. We and another table waited for 30min on the map, the waiter needed us several times the wrong food, the food of the children came only when the adults were almost finished, the medium-steak was tough and when we asked for the question Do you still have a wish? about 20.30 a.m. after Dessert, we got the answer in a very bare tone. We already have too . Very nice place but with this no longer contemporary attitude to service and dealing with guests unfortunately no recommendation.

Once again guest at the Ratskeller . For the spatiality, a restaurant can look in the basement. Pleasant atmosphere also caused by the spatial possibilities. They are therefore optimally exploited. Very friendly staff.I chose the offer Gänsebrust with honey skin. Very good, it is not enough. It was just amazing what came out of the kitchen. I haven't eaten such a tasty for a long time. The portions are generous. The menu offers regional cuisine at moderate prices. As well as a selection of regional wine varieties. And as already said, we were not disappointed even in a repeated visit here. You can also settle outside for warmer days. A recommendation in Bad Sulza !
