White Beard’s Catering - Azle

I visited the restaurant hoping to have some BBQ, but it has transitioned to a burger joint. It’s now under new ownership, and the website still hasn’t been updated with the correct information.

I really love this restaurant, but I wish they were open more than just three days a week.

The food was disappointing, and the service was even more lackluster. It seemed as though inexperienced staff were attempting to operate a professional restaurant. The meat was dry, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory.

Barbecue is a highly personal experience—what some people love, others might not appreciate at all. Personally, I can't tolerate anyone who criticizes this place! They serve large portions, have delightful side dishes, and offer friendly service in a quaint, rustic building. Additionally, it's a wonderful chance to connect with locals. We ended up having a great conversation with another guest and discovered some unexpected connections. The road trip from Fort Worth was definitely worth it!

This location is currently closed. In December, they announced that they lost their lease. However, you can still visit their Facebook page, as they are still providing catering services.
