Columbine Bakery - Avon

What a gem of a bakery and really nice staff too! Quiche is amazing, ham and cheese croissant is perfectly cooked, and both are nice take aways for breakfast the next day warmed up. Anchor stop on every trip here.

So many choices of pastry. We did takeout of soup and salad and quiche. All were great. Raspberry linzer tort and apple pastry were yummy. We will be back soon.

This is the most amazing place ever. I love going there and getting their beautiful sandwiches in the display, they are the best. The raspberry cookies and the ham and cheese croissants are really good too. In fact everything is good there.

This charming cafe reminds me of a spot I used to frequent in Florence, Italy, a place I truly miss. It warms my heart to know that I can enjoy a little piece of my favorite destination right here in the mountains. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is simply outstanding! The ham and cheese croissant is just like the one I used to enjoy near the Mercato. The cappuccino is spot on! Everything here is perfect. The food feels like art!

The cashier was very friendly. Although we've visited Avon before, this was our first time at this particular restaurant, as it was highly recommended by someone. The pastries were fresh, and the strawberry danish was especially delicious. I bought it for a snack later in the day, and it was fantastic when warmed up. The breakfast wrap (without meat) was tasty, and I really enjoyed the spinach tortilla. My partner had a pastry and a breakfast sandwich, and they were satisfied with their meal. This place truly stands out as one of the few in the area that offers such flavorful options. The only downside was that I noticed other customers coming and going without anyone wiping the tables in between visits.
