La Piazza Pizzeria - Avenal

Already ate several pastas from their menu, and I was never disappointed. A lot of variety and every one of them perfectly prepared. I 100% recommend.

Quite surprising good food but AGAIN only Portuguese cards are accepted. With all this tourism this is really short sighted.

I found the spaghetti dish inedible because of the unpleasant taste. Dumping it after a few bites, I ordered a pizza spinaci which was palatable, but no more than a slice you grab in a hurry while changing trains. I wouldn't call it cooking. Boil...a bunch of spaghetti, add a bit of garlic and oil and then mix. Take a pizza base, dump some cheese and spinach on it and bake. I'll do a far better job at home. The service was efficient and friendly. However, it's a tiny place where you have to have people moved in order to get in or out, and that further makes it feel like a commuter joint. A fuel pitstop pure and simple, but luckily a cheap one. The 2 plates cost me under 11 euros.

Good service, excelent food. Need to make early reservation for more than 4 since its a small restaurant. The pizza and past are just amazing.

When we went to Caldas da rainha with our best friends Maher and Dorothy we had lunch at this cute pizzaria ,we sat out side .The staff were very friendly and the food was just fabulous. we went back again in the same week for dinner.The place was packed with people and luckily we managed to get a table for 4 within half an hour. The food including the garlic bread with cheese is incredible.This Italian pizzaria is a must go and visit again .
