Oishi Sushi In Jenk - Austintown

This place has super nice staff but IMO the sushi is disappointing and it was on the more expensive side.

Great service, very friendly and the hospitality is top notch. The food was great, we had the bluefin nigiri, shrimp shumei, tandoori bao, chicken maki, and shrimp donburi. All were fantastic and very flavourful and didn't take long to get the orders out at all. When we went in we were the only people but we went after the lunch and before dinner so we didn't get the sense of how it is when it's busier but if you want to go when there's less traffic then that window would be a good time to aim for.

Good food, beautiful establishment, friendly service

We ordered the speciality rainbow roll. The fish was very fresh and tasty. We ordered bao buns also. The tandoori chicken bao buns were good and a unique twist on a traditional dish. Rather than being deep fried the chicken thigh was marinaded and grilled.

This place is disgusting. Nobody was in there when I got there and the fish looks inedible. I wouldn’t recommend I spent 14 bucks to eat a bowl of rice that wasn’t even that good. It also didn’t have wasabi in it as described and it seems that a lot of the reviews here are fake including the photos which appear AI generated or from elsewhere.
