Arrived 30 minutes before closing time this evening and was told we 're out of bread by an unaffected employee guzzling an energy drink behind the service counter. Ummmm, this is a sandwich store last time I checked. And I wasn 't aware the Health Human Services Dept allows restaurant employees to eat or drink over areas where food preparation occurs. Silver lining: potential food-borne illness averted!
These people just charged me 1.72 for a small cup of ice. Not'wven a large cup. He charged me the price of the soda. My local subway NEVER does that. Most often they say no charge. What shysters. I will not go in their door ever again.
This location is right across the street from my office. I was excited to be nearby as I like their breakfast. Their hours say they open at 7am, but at least 3 times this week they have opened well beyond 7am! One day they didn't open until after 10am! They need to adhere to the hours posted as this is an inconvenience to me. I drive into work early just to get breakfast there only for them to be closed! Unacceptable!
That's a good subway. The staff who work here are great. Sometimes the lines are long, especially between 12-1 (if most people working in downtown have lunch, but also then, waiting is rarely so long. There are both indoor and outdoor seats. There is no rest room in the actual restaurant, but in the lobby of the building there is a public. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained, and the food always looks fresh. I eat here every week or so... It is a few blocks away from where I work, and there are other places to eat that are closer, but the service eating here is worth the walk.
