The donuts and kolaches were incredible, and the staff was exceptionally friendly! I absolutely love this place!

Absolutely the best donuts and kolaches I've ever had! I bought them for my daughter's birthday, and all the kids loved them. The customer service is outstanding as well. I highly recommend this place!

The restaurant doesn't display any prices on the menu. What you can buy for around $2 from the bakery at HEB costs nearly $6 at Shipley's. It might be justifiable if the quality were significantly better, but the bargain option from HEB tastes fantastic, while Shipley's offerings are at best mediocre—you're paying more than double for something that's less than half as good. The Bavarian cream-filled donuts, in particular, were very disappointing. Additionally, the amount of packaging was excessive.

Donuts are huge and sooo good!! Definitely a must if you're in the area. Don't leave without getting a fritter!

Thank you for the hard working people at Shipley!! During the icestorm, the owners and employees came in and made sure that they served us without power and heat! And the donuts were great. Super nice staff too! Thank you Shipley!
