フィードバックを提供するI ordered the daily special, a roasted chicken sandwich, and it was fantastic. It was beautifully presented, served hot, and packed with flavor from the perfect blend of spices. The service was excellent as well, so I had plenty of time to enjoy my lunch.
The girl at the entrance informed us that there were no available seats. Unfortunately, she spoke very softly in a loud room, and we had to ask her to repeat herself each time. It seemed like she was trying to keep the noise down. When we asked to be placed on a waiting list, she declined without offering any alternatives and was rather rude about it. Although there were outdoor seats, she didn't mention them, so we decided to leave. Not the best first impression! Perhaps she was the owner's daughter, as it was clear she didn't have the temperament for a hostess role.
The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. It took a long time to receive our meals, and after the food arrived, we didn't stick around. The Margherita pizza was just basic garlic toast. We found ourselves waiting for a server while they seemed to prioritize other tasks in the kitchen. We even witnessed some unusual behavior in the kitchen, which was concerning. We waited for dessert that never arrived, and then we had to wait a long time for the check. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
This place is great. I really love coming here for a few beers and a few golden tea when I lived in Steiner Ranch. The pizza and the Phillie are solid and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The food here is pretty good, so I have no complaint about that. I have to give 4 stars because their website says they are closed a lot of the time. Then when you go call them to place an order, NO ONE picks up. So you have to drive over there and wait for them to make it. So from a convenience, short on time perspective, this isn't always a good option. I will order from another place nearby instead. I hope they can resolve this issue, and I will change my review to 5 stars. But then again, they don't seem too worried about the potential missed money since they know about the issue and don't fix it. I'm sure the other restaurants appreciate the customers they may lose.
