Cups Cones - Austin

Stopped here for a quick sandwich and cup of ice cream hubby got a burger. The service was great, the ice cream was so creamy and amazing. The sandwich hit the spot, husband said burger was wonderful.

Good food but horrible service. I would get there for a smoothie about ten minutes after they opened (according to Google) but the owner would still be opening and when many people would knock he would ignore. I have seen kids sit at the Cups Cones seating with food they have bought from the near by gas station and the same owner has been very rude and kicked the poor kids out (even on closed days he would drive up and kick them out).

Nice place. Went here for the first time and I saw people chatting and planning school games, holiday events over pancakes and cup of coffee. Felt like this was a community place, not to mention great food and service.

We visit cups and cones about once a week! we love the blue bell eis options and the amy eis options also. they have now tasted “Blueberry Pop Tart”! the owner, rick, was friendly enough to tell me to try it and it didn't disappoint! my son loves that made in house shaved ice! I have heard that ricks scenes are also amazing. the selection of pastries is impressive for a small business. we were already in stone when cups and cones opened 14 years ago. we have seen rick and kristi work lonnnng hours every week to keep their business. I have never seen one of them appear frustrated with the fullness of elementary and middle school children who come daily. I have actually admired her patient for indecision and complicated commands when they wait a line. if they are in a hurry the hours right after school may not be their sweet spot, but if they have time to lean back and a funny little community hive come to cups and cones. they even have local art and cute boutique style also! I could go on and on, but enough to say that this place is a stone ranch shady, but we usually come because the food and service are great!

Cups and cones is part of the heart of the stone community. Owners are always volunteering and supporting schools. children love to meet there for all celebrity ice tasty! our family enjoys picking up the breakfast tacos. sometimes we think we're a cool drink when we walk around the neighbourhood. Love that the owners also try to support and rent the teenagers in the community.
