Chosun Galbi - Austin

Order the B6 dish—it's absolutely incredible! The broccoli is amazing, and the salad is unbelievable. Both taste like they've been infused with something heavenly!

I used to love this place and visited with my friends 3-4 times a year during college. Since starting my job, I really missed the food, so I decided to go for lunch today. However, I was taken aback by how expensive everything had become. I understand that prices are rising in Austin, but I didn't expect such a significant increase (double the price). The portions were smaller, and the flavors seemed to be lacking as well. Overall, I was quite disappointed.

The dining experience was decent, and most of the staff were helpful. However, the barbecue was overcooked and burned every 5-10 minutes, and one of the waitresses was too indifferent to assist us with getting a fresh batch. It's hard to enjoy food that is consistently charred like that. It's definitely something that raises health concerns.

K-Dramas had believed me to get some delicious Korean food, so I found the next place near me and came to chosun. I got the bulgogi and it was decent not dry and not excessively marinated and the sides were in order. my sis got the Bibimbap bowl and she liked it. Please note: I am full of Mexican American girls who recently came to the kitchen of Korea, so my grading standards may not be at the point. but hey. I still know quality haha. Finally, the vegetarian pancakes were too fat tade for me. overall, this place did not have the wow factor in all asspects of the food, the ambientes and the personal. not terrible, but not amazing. Maybe it would have been different if we had done all KBBQ style, but we were too tired to cook our own kitchen lol. I had this place missing miga korean restaurant in fremont, ca. seufzer either wise, chosun still a little satisfied my k food demand this day. 3,5 stars. P.S massive parking so that is great.

Wow!! I have never had Korean barbecue and it was amazing! I'm so glad I was able to try this type of food! The restaurant is very chill and the staff is friendly. My group and I ordered B15 assorted bbq. The bulgogi was phenomenal and so was the marinated short ribs. I would definitely come back here again and order something different. Loved the kimchi salad too!
