Intimate and welcoming. The menu is small and enticing. Everything is tasty; you can't go wrong with any selection. The service is highly personalized and efficient. It's just a lovely experience. Try the mussels!
Pros: Good food. Medium/smallish portions, but still very satisfying and filling. Good flavor. I got the snapper on couscous with local vegetables. It had a nice sauce on top and delicious spices. I enjoy some meals and the flavors that I've had from Pappadeux and some other high end seafood places better, but this meal was very decent and the place is more relaxed and informal. Cheaper than higher end restaurants too. Had a cappuccino with my meal, which was delicious. And had lavender creme brulee for dessert very nice and hit my sweet spot. My friends had the lamb ragu pasta, which looked very good and flavorful as well. Our waiter was also very nice and happy. Cons: The restaurant was very warm inside. Felt like 78 or 80 degrees. Too warm. And the food took a long time to come out. We were there a total of 2 hours and spent probably half the time waiting (and chatting).
Such a hidden gem. the hotel is located in a strip-mask, but brings it to Europe when it is in. menu surprised me with classics and taste combinations. the pfirsich, goat cheese arugula salat with the pei mush as my head. excellent quality and would order again. at the bar, at the tables had beautiful white tablecloths, although the atmosphere was not fuss. Perhaps a new neighboring lover.
Finally proof that good Gnocchi exists, the gorgonzola gnocchi dish is phenomenal, this restaurant is a treasure. Best birthday lunch I have ever had, amazing surprise! James is also a fantastic waiter, I look forward to returning with my little one after we do our weekly shopping at Desi Brothers!
For a cafe located in a strip mall, this restaurant has an unexpectedly cozy and faintly European ambience due to the light fixtures and decor. This created a great, hole in the wall vibe. The price point was very reasonable and affordable when compared to the quality of the food. I ordered the Grilled Berkshire Pork Chop and my dinner companion ordered the Bistro grilled marinated hanger steak. Both dishes were good and the vegetable saute was exceptional. For dessert, we ordered the Basil Panna Cotta with Strawberry which was flavorful and fresh. The Apple Crumble is an easy crowd pleaser and was flaky and food. It took a while to get the check or drink refills but this is understandable due to the server shortage. Not pictured, we also enjoyed some excellent decaf latte which can be attributed to the expresso machine at the bar. The I can Explain Everything limoncello, cachaça, sweet lemon juice and prosecco was delicious and dangerously strong. I 'll definitely be heading back again!
