フィードバックを提供するI had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The hibachi was not good, the silverware was dirty, my glass still had lipstick on it, and the staff was extremely rude.
I went on a nice date and decided to try out this restaurant because they had tonkatsu, which I was craving. We ordered an appetizer and a non-alcoholic drink during happy hour, as well as tonkatsu and a noodle dish. The atmosphere was old and grungy, with strange music playing. We were served by 3 different servers, which was a bit bizarre. The staff didn't seem very enthusiastic, but with the mandatory 19% gratuity, I guess they didn't have to be. The food was average at best. Everything tasted old, from the spring rolls to the mushy fried rice and the noodles with very small pieces of meat. The tonkatsu was crispy, but I've had better for half the price elsewhere. Our total bill came to $66, but with the mandatory gratuity, it ended up being $85. They still expected an additional tip on top of that. If the food had been better, I wouldn't have minded the expensive gratuity, but unfortunately, this was a costly mistake. After tax and gratuity, a $23 dish turned into $30, which was overpriced for the quality of food. To make matters worse, the food didn't sit well and I felt unwell the entire drive home. I was extremely disappointed considering the restaurant's high rating.
