Renegade Burrito - Aurora

Unbelievable choices in burritos. Jam packed full. Very tasty. Sign up and they will text you 2 for 1 specials! I love it and I'm not usually a burrito girl as they are normally too spicy. This place is great !

The renegade chicken was decent at best. Hardly any flavor and it was cold. Actually, everything was cold. It was a big burrito but it was so bland. Spend your money at a Moe's or Chipotle if you want better quality. Customer service was good though.

After an unnecessarily long wait at a fast-casual restaurant, I tried to place my order, only to be corrected by the first staff member I encountered. They insisted on telling me what I wanted, and then informed me that an advertised item would incur an extra charge because it included guacamole. That's fine, but the correction felt rude. As I moved down the line, the next employee didn't seem very knowledgeable about what he was making for me, but I managed to point at the items I wanted on my burrito. When I reached the cashier, I was asked if I would be dining in, and I answered "yes." Despite this, the cashier wrapped my food to-go anyway. When I tried to clarify that it was for here, he practically pried my credit card from my hand before I could ask for a drink. It felt like they weren't interested in making sales and I was being rushed to leave. While the food is good, the service is simply unacceptable. I followed up on the owner's response to my review, but I never heard back.

I visited for the first time and enjoyed my meal, but the service left much to be desired. It was quite impersonal—almost nonexistent, really. The cashier only asked for payment and didn't engage at all. Because of this, I changed my rating from 4 stars to 3. I'll return someday and update my review.

As I moved down the line, the next employee seemed less knowledgeable about how to prepare my order, so I had to point out items to get them included in my burrito. When I reached the checkout, the cashier asked if I would be dining in, and I responded yes. However, he proceeded to wrap up my food as a takeout order anyway. I told him it was for here, but he basically grabbed my credit card before I could mention that I also wanted a drink. It felt as if they don’t care about their sales and that I was being rushed to leave the place. So, I suppose once I finish my meal, I’ll do just that. While the food is good, the service is completely unacceptable. Edit: I followed up on the owner's response but have never heard back.
