La Chicanita Bakery - Aurora

Made a fruit pizza for my fiance's birthday when no other bakery would do it, and it was awesome. Thank you la chicanita.

An authentic Mexican cake shop loaded with tons of psychedelic bread, in literally any color, size, or shape you could imagine. It was more like a house of sweet treats. Cupcakes, muffins, bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, what not! I have never seen such a large variety of sweet treats anywhere else the employees were so friendly helpful when I asked them for what each dessert was called, they didn't hesitate to help. Some of the bread was pretty huge, so I reckon they’d make a good portion for two people. I tried clicking pictures but they won't do justice for how pretty colorful everything in the store was! We ended up buying three slices of tres leches cake in Mocha flavor it was heavenly. I am gonna visit them shortly again.

Come for the bakery, but the Tamales are very good. Would recommend ordering them before time, so they are as fresh as possible.

The baked items are good the attitudes from the cashier's are not. Still go back just for the pastries. Prices have definitely gone up though.

Being new to the area, I been craving pan. I am so happy to learn there is this bakery to find the best Mexican panes and champurrado. I ordered a few Conchitas and pan de Muertos to go along side champurrados. I am definitely coming back for more!
