Mcdonald's - Augusta

Nice to see the rebuilt McDonald's! Well constructed and with the self-ordering kiosks. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!!

This review updates my last visit to this McDonald's location. On that occasion, they were under construction and only the drive-thru was open. As a result, I gave them a rather low rating. My order was only half of what I requested, and after speaking with several staff members, we managed to resolve the issue. Later that week, we received a letter from the McBee family, apologizing for our experience at one of their locations. They also sent us three vouchers: one for a Buy One Large Breakfast Meal, Get One Free, and two additional vouchers for Buy One Large Sandwich, Get Two Free (as long as they are of equal or lesser value, valid at participating locations). Now, onto my most recent visit, which was a fun Chicken Date Night with my 7-year-old nephew. We shared a special treat: a 6-piece McNuggets Happy Meal with a toy—a Red Monster Truck that zooms far and fast! We also ordered a Large Meal with 20 Chicken Nuggets and a Large Chocolate Milkshake, enjoying our meal inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and we were the only customers there. We sat in front of the large windows, and my nephew, who has special needs, thrived in this comfortable and accommodating environment. The woman who took our order was just perfect for our special night. He was calm and content as he enjoyed his perfectly cooked meal in a cozy chair. I want to thank the McBee family for making this second visit so memorable. The picture of my nephew shows his joy and contentment. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food and its spacious, child-friendly setup. The relaxing atmosphere and the excellent staff made for a wonderful experience. It’s remarkable to see such positive changes since my first visit. Thank you, McBee's McDonald's, for turning a bad experience into a fantastic one! It's astonishing how much improvement has been made!

Generally, the service is prompt, although it can get busy at times. However, I've never received cold or stale food during my visits.

The line wasn't as long as it usually is, which was nice. However, there was one issue: the hair in the food was quite unpleasant.
