Fernielea - Auckland

Love this place visited for the first time tonight as part of a group function (8 Oct 16) and found it was a neat little spot to have a nice meal or a function and we will definitely be back again great play area for the kids and the manager Rain is so lovely and makes sure all is well and everyone is looked after. Some glasses were dropped tonight and she was right out and got it all sorted and then did a thorough check to make sure there wasn't glass anywhere including the cracks for the little feet running around. Definitely a spot to stop at with great staff

This cafe is a bit of drive out of Auckland, but is a good place to meet up with friends. It's right by the dairy and close to where they hold the monthly Coatesville Markets (first Sunday of the month). Black Cottage (the new kid in the country) is on the other side of the dairy, brand new and always busy. This cafe is the original and a bit more laid back. Playground outside for kids and seating inside, on the verandah or outside under the trees. I can't rave about the food to be honest, except for their homemade pies which they sell at the market. I ordered the BLT, but it was made with bread so lightly toasted it was unappealing wouldn't order that again. The mince with poached eggs and the mushrooms on potato rosti looked good. A little surprise was the coffee art, didn't expect that!

Good and friendly service, nice indoor/outdoor setting. Great coffee and good food.

This is my favorite restaurant in north shore Auckland. the flavor and the way of cooking of its meal combines western and east food. the service from waitors and waitress are also good. l

Great local cafe in Coatesville. Very friendly staff, huge venue with great outdoor area, playground and netted-trampoline. Great pizzas and dinner meals on Friday evenings. Suitable for group bookings but reservation required especially on weekends.
