However, then came the unexpected surprise... Halfway through, I bit into something hard and had to spit out a piece that looked like a broken fingernail. I was left wondering if it was really part of the pie. Despite how delicious it initially was, my trust in it was broken. I couldn't finish my slice and ended up throwing away the rest of the pie.
Amazing pies!!! $30 for ONE whole pie!!!! Serves 10 slices. We chose the Marion berry one. It did not disappoint!! This place is a gold mine! Can't wait to go back !!! AKA-Dana C
We came here Friday at 12:00pm. It was busy but we were still able to find a table right away after we ordered. The line moved fast and was short. Almost everything we ordered was good: Onion ring too much batter , mushroom burger, tofu burger, regular cheese burger, blueberry pie too sweet . The burgers were juicy. They also got their own marketplace next door that sells bomb veggie chips that are a bit pricey for a little bag $11+ . There's also other things like dips, chips, cheeses, charcuteries, beers, wines, etc. It was easy to find parking in the parking lot.
Amazing pies! $6 per slice (only on the restaurant side). Mini pies available inside the grocery, but they don't make as many as the bigger ones. What an amazing selection of flavors cobblers and pies. Apple, Marion Berry, razzle berry (raspberry and Marion), pecan, cherry, triple berry, strawberry rhubarb.... Next time I might come for the regular pie just because the streusel was too sweet for me. Can't wait to come back to try the burgers, $18 but huge delicious looking ones! The place smelled incredible. Caution, there was a 15 min wait even at 1pm on a Friday, can't imagine what the line might be like on a weekend!
We were on our way from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe and needed food and a bathroom break. I don't know how my friends found or knew about this spot since I wasn't driving, but it was the perfect little pit stop! It's got this Farmer's Market vibe and worth the time and should have just what you need to stay a while or stop and shop. We mostly stopped here since we needed groceries on our way to the resort. I love supporting local businesses as much as possible when in Hawaii so I'm hoping I could do the same in the mainland as well. There was just enough of everything we could want and a lot of didn't know we needed. We grabbed all kinds of goods from snacks, to groceries, spices, sauces. The fruits and veggies were a big plus since we just got off of a flight and ate breakfast at Dennys; I really wanted something a bit more on the fresh side since I had been eating processed food for over 24 hours. BUUUUT, we didn't skip out on ordering something from the to-go side. My husband and I ate some fried foods along with our strawberries and blueberries: balance lol. Overall this place is definitely worth a stop and can really help you refresh from a long drive.
