Tabla - Atlanta

We enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was outstanding.

We ordered takeout from the Midtown location and got 5 entrees, naan, and samosas. The total came to $200 before tip, so it was a bit expensive. The Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken were good, but not amazing. We wished there was more rice included with the order. We asked for the Biryani to be mild and it was flavorful.

The Indian food at this restaurant is top-notch, although it comes at a slightly higher price. However, the young hostess consistently displays a bad attitude every time I visit. For instance, she once threw away my receipt and only retrieved it from the trash when I requested a copy. She is often rude and seems uninterested in providing good service. It also appears that she may have biases against black customers, based on her behavior towards them compared to other customers. I spoke to the manager in hopes of offering both praise and criticism, hoping that the young hostess can receive guidance and improve. I hope the manager can help her improve her service skills and passion for her work, as her behavior could potentially harm the restaurant's reputation.

We visited on Christmas day. The place was highly recommended from a friend so we had high hopes from Tabla. Even though the menu was a bit shorter than expected, once we got the food, all the expectations were met. The food was presented well, the quantity was more than what we expected and the taste was simply perfect. Our experience here was nothing short of a michelin star restaurant. I'd definitely go back there if I visit Atlanta again.

It was very pleasant dining experience at Tabla. Food was great with quality and taste except desserts. Special shout out to our Server Vinit for Amazing service. Tabla mgmt is lucky to have Vinit as an employee who was always there with smiling face and excellent service.
