Poppin Pita - Atlanta

During my first visit, the person who answered the phone and handled our meal was quite unprofessional. He was cursing at someone while I was on the line with him and was late bringing us our food. When he finally handed over our order, the bag was covered in grease and spices, and his gloved hands were a mess. I couldn’t help but laugh at the situation, but luckily, the food was still good. On my second visit, a different staff member took care of me. The woman was very sweet and courteous over the phone. I love their hot sauce, and even though I didn’t explicitly mention it, she noticed and made sure my wings were thoroughly covered in it. She also added an extra container of hot sauce for my falafel bowl, which I really appreciated. Her extra care and attention definitely made up for the previous experience, so I’m giving them five stars. Overall, I think this is a great place with good food that is definitely worth your time and money.

The falafel bowl was fantastic! I'm not really a fan of hot spicy sauce, though. The hummus was decent, but a bit watery when paired with the pita bread. Overall, it's a cute little spot to dine in.

The experience was fantastic, with delicious food at a great price. They also stayed open quite late. I'll remember to request extra sauce with my falafel next time!

Love this place! I am from the Midwest and been here for 3 years now and this is the best Gyro here in Atlanta! The sauce is amazing and love the customer service! Great place and great food!

I've been a customer for a couple of years, but something has definitely changed. They no longer have pickup available through the apps, which means I have to call in my order. However, when I call, the staff seems annoyed, as if I'm inconveniencing them, even though it's the only way to place a pickup order. They often ask me to "hold on for a moment," and I end up waiting on the phone for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes before they finally take my order. When I go into the restaurant, it's clear that things are disorganized. The food has even been burnt on occasion, and the service is quite poor. I've decided to take my business elsewhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up closing down.
