Nowak’s Morningside - Atlanta

Oh, man, where do I start? Everything from ambience to food and service was excellent. From the moment I went into the door, I was treated as if I had been here a hundred times and like family! I ordered the bone in Ribeye and it was perfectly cooked! My server recommended that I order my steak-oscar-style, which has a bunch of crab meat and Bernaise sauce on top! The drinks were also great and there was never a long wait! Nowaks is now just one of my favorite restaurants! Can't wait to go back!

I can only say... Wow and I'm not so impressed. Had the fillet with green beans and potatoes. Really well done. My employee had the ribs.... He fell slightly on them, meat fell from the bone. The price... for the area and near the city was reasonable. City $50, here and tasted the same as everywhere, $35. Must go, book on weekends from Thursday.

Good menu and great service! Our server Shomari was really outstanding. His descriptions and his attentiveness were exceptional. He anticipated every need before we noticed. The atmosphere is pleasant. One thing that stood out was the diverse music selection. Very random! I enjoyed many tracks, but the experience could have been much better if they stuck to a general genre. Going from Frank Sinatra to the Violent Femmes is not a pleasant transition when enjoying a romantic dinner. I'm guessing that the general manager is playing his iPod playlist set on shuffle. My suggestion would be to stick to a consistent theme. It really was the only part of the evening that wasn't fabulous. Thanks Shomari!

Hands down the best steak I've had in Atlanta. Our server, Leo, took great care of us. I was taking my mom to the Symphony for Christmas and appreciated the awesome service. Will be back for my Dad's birthday in a few weeks!

We're in town for a convention, one of the people we're meeting with a taping here before. This was probably the best ribeye I have ever eaten. Staff was spot on. Great experience.
