Insomnia Cookies - Athens

Stopped by for an ice cream sandwich. It was great! The woman working the register was very polite and friendly. I order snickerdoodle cookies and strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The ice cream was one of the best strawberry cheesecake I?ve creams I?ve had! The cookies were nicely sized too. No issues on my visit. I?d definitely recommend this place!

The deluxe cookies are HUGE!! So many tasty flavours! Staff is always friendly, love to come here for a quick sweet treat!

BUSY place! Lol! But overall the staff are very sweet and you can tell they work really hard. The cookies are really good! I mean come on they are cookies! If anyone screws a cookie shop should not be in business. But these are way better than American Cookie! I am just saying! And I have a few favorites that I buy from there but try the Chocolate Chip Deluxe cookie! I actually bought 4 classics and 4 Deluxe. The difference is the Deluxe cookies are large and way more sinful lol! Be prepared for going through hell to park because this is a college town and the location in Midtown is pretty much attached to a college as well. So just make a fun weekend out of it. I wanted to go here because I seen thses really cool milkshakes on their site but they don't do shakes here. They have ice cream though! And the wait can get long. I gave this place 4 stars because they are under staffed. 15 minutes turned into over 30 minutes. But they were very apologetic and I appreciate that.

I ordered quite an expensive package which was advertised as having a 45 minute turn around time between order and delivery. I had to wait 50 minutes for the order to even leave the store, then the online tracker said it was on the way . I had to wait another 45 minutes even though we are only 10 min away from the store. When I received a text saying the order had arrived, the delivery driver was no where to be found- I did not receive our products. I checked all around the address and surrounding streets and didn 't find them, and the products hadn 't been dropped at the front desk. I double checked the address I provided, and it was accurate. I then called an associate at the store I ordered from and they told me they had no idea where the driver was, because he was a third party driver (even though I ordered directly via Insomnia Cookies website) and they 'd send a new batch with their driver. 2 hr later, still no cookies. I had to keep calling for updates as the store made no effort to communicate with me. Associate kept telling me they were on the way , even though at this point it had been 5+ hours since original order. She assured me they would be delivered within the next 30 min. 30 min comes and goes, and I did not receive the cookies. Its been 6 hrs at this point since the order that boasted a 45 min turn around on the website. Due to this, I called and asked for a refund, to which the associate said I would be sent an email with refund info- I never received this email, nor did I get a refund. This was the Athens location, and I will likely never purchase again, nor recommend it to anybody!

Most defiantely would not recommend would give 0 stars if I could. Asked for a chicken biscuit, but was instead given a spicy sausage bicuit with lettuce and toamto. Asked for a refund but wouldnt get one.... I seriousl dout the capability of this establichmetns management and would never recommenf goping here again for reasonably edible food!
