Cellar Door Tara Vineyard Winery

Server was very nice but not knowledgeable of the different wines. The owner was there and walk pass the tables several times and NEVER said a word greeting etc. I understand everyone is not a people person but hire someone that is and knowledgeableabout your merchandise. Went down the road to 3 Pee's in a vine excellent service and were very knowledgeable.

Awful experience. The string of recent negative reviews is a clear indication of what to expect. Wine is good, but very small pours on a fairly overpriced tasting. Forgivable. The server was not knowledge about the wines needs a bit more training. Notforgivable: service is bad our server even blamed US that she forgot to bring us wine (at a winery) and failed to check on us.Never came back, and I have to leave my group and ask a different server for the check. Better off going to Castle Oaks, justdown the road, or 3Ps in a Vine in town. Tara, you've got competition now. Better step it up!

The food was excellent. the steak was tender and perfect. but for $10.00 they get a tiny plate with the gnocchi. I'll say it was very good only expensive. eating is expensive, but the service was good. I'm not sure if the health-dept would agree that the dogs should be begging their table. but we were with it.

This restaurant is excellent. The tour cost $100 for two and included tastings of four wines along with a small charcuterie board. They give you a glimpse of their wine storage and share the history of Tara Winery, and we even took a stroll through the vineyard. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I noticed other reviews mentioning dogs, but I didn’t see any during our time there. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed another charcuterie board paired with even more wine! I highly recommend the blueberry wine. It's a fantastic experience for a date—very romantic! I do agree with others that it is on the pricier side.

This hidden gem was perfect for our trip! The food was excellent, and the service was friendly. It had a beautiful atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back!
