Big Daddy's Bbq Shack - Athens

I got the whole Slab of ribs…..They were the best ribs I have eaten in the past 10 years are longer……The meat was so tender and Delicious…..I would recommend it to anyone….. I also got some Big Daddy Fries, which are a meal by themselves….. Everyone should try out a whole slab of ribs…..

Well, not sure how the food is because although the website said they were open on a Wednesday they were not the day we arrived. No sign on the door and no voice message left on their phone number. Not sure if they are still open. If so they really should update their website.

Chicken strips were just perfect. A little pricey though

We love BBQ which is one of our first food choices when traveling. We had an early supper while passing through the state. We were starved when we arrived. Restaurant staff were friendly, welcoming and awesome. BBQ flavoring is a preference and though this style/flavor was not our first choice, it was satisfactory as were the side orders. We were comfortable eating here. It would be fine for families. It is a casual, down to earth place. Give them a try. We were glad to find them.

The people who work here are so nice and friendly and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Oh man it was amazing. Meat was fall apart tender. Sauce was spot on All around good food.
