Panda Express - Atascadero

The service was equally disappointing—very curt and entirely unprofessional. The food display was unattractive, with items poorly arranged and old leftovers mixed in with new offerings. The area was also messy, covered in food splatters, and the trash cans were overflowing. I've seen better conditions in third-world countries, and it feels like we're not far from that status ourselves. I will never return to this establishment for any food. To top it off, they had the nerve to suggest that I leave a tip. My suggestion would be to prepare food that’s actually edible and to show some basic manners. The food here was disappointing. I've never had such lackluster Panda Express before. Both the quality and quantity were subpar. The food only tasted about 65% as good as what I've had at other Panda Express locations. I definitely do not recommend this one.

Can confirm this is indeed the worst Panda in SLO County (the ones in SLO aren't great, either, so that's saying something). Should have read the reviews before going in, lesson learned. It was 12:30pm and there was not a single fresh item to be had, the employees all looked as miserable as the food did. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have (and should have) turned around and walked out. DON'T DO IT!
