Beach Burrito - Astoria

The food was really good and the manager there was super helpful. She gave us great suggestions to ask questions again and again, so we built a really great queen and burrito. Both people and my party are vegetarian, so it was very clear what is vegetarian, what starts with milk. She even went through me how to roll a burrito. We thought she was the owner of the store and we asked her and she said she was manager, but she looks like the owner and she feels like that. I agree if you treat something like it your own you usually treat it better. Welyl is definitely back!

Food was pretty good, price was fair. Staff was friendly. My daughter loved the play structure.

I stopped by this restaurant for lunch on 6/25/2022 while walking by the sea, and I wish I had tried it sooner. As another reviewer mentioned, it was similar to Taco Del Mar. You get to customize your food, so if you don't like it, it's on you. I ordered the lime chicken with a coke, which had a variety of flavors. The only thing I would suggest is to ask for the tortilla to be warmed a bit more, but that was my own oversight. Overall, the food was decent and I enjoyed my meal.

I had an amazing time at the beachside burrito restaurant! I had a great conversation with Brooke and Carmen. Brooke even went above and beyond to engage with my 5-year-old and make his dining experience super fun. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and there was a fun game area for kids to enjoy.
