Authentic and cozy little gem on the pedestrian street in Assens. We were 5 adults and 4 children who, without a reservation, got a place in the middle of the evening service. We had excellent children's dishes served first, appropriate sizes at a very reasonable price. According to the young people, it was lovely food. We adults got a 3-course menu, with a reasonable selection of dishes, also at an extremely fair price. The food was lovely, beautifully presented and suitable portion sizes. We got nice tempered red wine from the wine cooler and free ice water. There was a bit of a wait between dishes, but when you're talking about well-prepared food that has been given real Italian love, slow food is perfectly fine! The atmosphere in the restaurant was top notch, despite the busyness the service was welcoming and friendly with a twinkle in their eye. English speaking and extremely pleasant. Really a surprisingly good experience, thank you for that!
