Virginia Bbq - Ashland

Nice little restaurant with good food. People are nice and friendly. Place is clean. My food was good. They have good corn muffins. Also potatoes salad was good. My brisket wasn't really good. It was hard to bite and little bit rubbery. Coleslaw was good. Also they have great sandwiches. Good atmosphere inside.

The food was so bad we couldn't finish it. The buns were stale, the Mac and cheese was terrible, and the bbq had zero taste. Never again will we be eating at this dump

I love great BBQ, and while Virginia BBQ isn't among the top places I've ever tried, it's still quite good. A nice hearty pulled pork sandwich with peppery vinegar, a few blackened bits, on a soft roll with slaw (optional) really nice. I was impressed with the wide array of sides I had the collard greens (an A) and Mac and cheese (a solid B), and I'll go back to try the green beans, hush puppies, corn bread, rings and potato salad. Banana pudding looked good.

Never again will i step foot in that place nor will my friends or family. I dont like to complain but the three people working there gave me every reason too. I was double charged for my order and the employees attitudes where just unacceptable. I hope the three of you get fired and are never employed again. Oh and the food was absolute garbage
