フィードバックを提供するMy fiancé and I moved to Ashland between December 2022 and February 2023. In that time we have gotten to know Louis and have enjoyed every single visit. Not only is the staff attentive, they are also very courteous, friendly and hard working. We are boring and mostly stick to what we love the most...hot wings and Long Islands. However, we have had other foods and beverages and all have been incredible. It is such an amazing restaurant to visit and even more magical when you can sit outside. You can enjoy the sound of the water and fresh air. Inside is lovely as well. If in the area we do recommend visiting Louis and the area in general. Thank you Louis for the warm welcome and for being a consistent hot spot for us!! PS we have had take out and Dine in! All great!
The food here is fantastic. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options alongside pescitarian and meat dishes. They also have a dog menu which our two pups loved. The wait time around 4:30pm on a Saturday was long enough to get a drink next door at Oberon's but not long enough to wait in a long line for the drink. The staff then calls your cellphone and you have 5 minutes or so to get to the host. Worked well for us. She had the black bean veggie burger (4/5) and I had the BLT (5/5) with the Black Bean Chilli (4/5). The truffle fries are not too strong which can be nice. For strong smelling truffle fries pop over to Skout's at the end of the creek walk.
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch on the deck next to the creek. Beautiful day, good food, good drinks and a wonderful, separate gluten free menu for my daughter to choose from. I wish every restaurant would either provide a separate menu like Louie’s chose to do or at least designate GF options on their menus. It’s not just a fad for everyone! Thank you for making her experience wonderful as well as mine, she has come to hate dining out.
I am genuinely impressed. 4th time being here and the service/food has not changed. The black truffle fries are worth coming in for EVERYTIME. This is the only place in Ashland that can make a real mixed drink and not mess it up. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Staff is attentive but not overbearing. Check come at an appropriate time (huge with me) and the overall experience is just outstanding.
Love this place, some great comfort food and nice selection of beer and wine.
