Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Ashburn

This is my all-time favorite restaurant. It serves the best Mexican food in Virginia. The dishes are always fresh and delicious, with consistent quality and service. I absolutely love Cafe Rio! My husband and I always order the vegetarian salads with both pinto and black beans, topped with everything and extra pico. We have visited this location nearly a dozen times this year and have always had a fantastic experience.

I recently visited Cafe Rio and was impressed by the friendly staff and delicious food at this new location.

I have had some bad experiences with Mexican fast food in the past, but this is the absolute worst. They should definitely close down. All of the food I was served was either overcooked or undercooked. The sides seemed like they were cooked in the morning and still being served at night. Loudon health inspection really needs to check the quality of their food. This is the worst food I have ever had! It's also not a good option for vegetarians because it's not fresh at all.

We've eaten here 3x as of last night. First two times, it was fantastic. The 3rd time, the food was still fantastic but it made all us of very sick. We had the pulled chicken, which we all loved. I'm not sure what it was last evening, perhaps cross-contamination, but we all fell ill. It's too bad, because I really love this place all the food it offers. The staff is great as well.Vegetarian options: You can always skip the meat here end up with a satisfying meal.Parking: Tons of parking!Kid-friendliness: They definitely have food your kids will want.
