I understand it's an older building, but the floorboards could use some attention to prevent disturbances, as we were awakened by the sounds of fellow guests coming and going during the night and early morning. Despite this, I can’t recommend this place and its owners highly enough!
Had a nice stay here in arundel with beautiful hostes who feel very welcome from the first minute. a place we highly recommend and will return this year. even if they don't stay here, it's the perfect place for a drink in the evening or her morning coffee for a nice walk. thanks again:
The room was beautifully furnished, clean, and offered a wonderful selection of coffee and tea. I cozied up in the crisp bed linens of a soft, fluffy bed in the Earl room — I can guarantee a great night's sleep here! The showers were fantastic, complete with high-quality toiletries. Breakfast in the morning was a delight; fresh, made with local products, and featuring a wide variety of options alongside superbly brewed coffee. The owners were incredibly friendly, ensuring you feel special throughout your stay. The location is very convenient for accessing the city, just a few minutes from the train station and close to Arundel Castle. I highly recommend House Arundel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
We had a fantastic experience at the House Arundel. We stayed in the Duchess Room, which is absolutely stunning—it's just like the pictures! The room and bathroom have been completely renovated, and the combination of modern and antique decor creates a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that feels completely different from a typical hotel. The breakfast was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared by Judith, one of the owners, who is such a lovely person! The location is excellent, and Arundel was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when we're in the area.
I travel the UK frequently hosting mountain biking trips and have the pleasure of relaxing and enjoying the ambience, hospitality, food and drink of many amazing places across the country, but House Arundel run by the awesome Judith Meinte, is my favorite place to unwind with a craft beer or glass of wine. It is literally like sitting in their boutique living room, soaking up the history of the building and the town as the locally sourced cheeses and saucisson are served on shabby-chic plates. They have travelled the world and have an infectious enthusiasm and passion for their unique place in this historic town. Keep up the great work and I'll always be back every time I'm in Arundel.
