Swanbourne Lodge Cafe - ARUNDEL

I have enjoyed many delightful Sunday afternoons with my children at this restaurant. They absolutely love walking along the shore and climbing the banks. When they’re feeding the ducks, they never forget to bring their breadcrumbs, as there are plenty of birds around. It's also a fantastic spot for a picnic. While the paddle boats can be a bit pricey, the kids have a blast. My daughters even took it upon themselves to paddle around in circles when they were in their early teens!

This is a fantastic spot for an afternoon or a day out with the kids! Located right by Arundel Castle along Mill Road, you'll find a lovely lake perfect for enjoying dessert and taking a boat trip. Paddleboats are affordable and can be rented by the half hour. There's also a café and delicious ice cream (huge portions!) as well as picturesque walks on the hill. Highly recommended!

Took no and neffen for the afternoon on the lake, what had fun we had to feed. eis and tee zu-wow ice cream! boot cheap enough to rent. beautiful environment. went too well into the lock. beautiful walks around and down to the river or along the river. children have been amusing all the way away, just keep them away from the river! the sea is a must:

This is a realy beautiful well preserved castle with over a 1000 years of history behind it.Situated 4 miles north of Littlehampton midway between Chichester and Worthing it's very easy to get to.It's so easy to spend a day not just looking round the castle but there's also the gardens and the lake.The admission fee of £13 adults and £7.50 children (although family tickets are available) is worth the money.I can't wait to go back.

Lovely place to visit and walk around love the scenery and nature. You can purposefully get lost in the trees, hills, sheep, water, etc.
