フィードバックを提供するRafdhani is arguably the best Gujarati thali experience in California, If not in all of the US. The vegetable curries and dhals were all very distinctive, and so it was their jeera rice, pulao, and a huge assortment of both baked and freshly fried breads, rotis, chapattis, kulchas,, parathas, pooris, etc. You get the point. Also worth mentioning is that all of their chutneys and side condiments are house made, because the flavors were extremely unique. You gotta try it--it's a one-of-a-kind experience in every way! Especially if you've never before experienced classic Indian vegetarian food at its best. Just be sure you are coming in hungry if you're going to do the all-you-can-eat option, which I highly recommend. Cheers;
My friends and I went to this restaurant for the unlimited Gujrati thali which cost around 27$. The quality of food was good but one of the curry had oil in it in good quantity), also the menu is pre- defined. The concept of serving hot dishes at your seat is good. You also get a bowl of water to clean your hands in the end. Overall a must visit place if you want to experience the unique concept. NOTE: Try the limited thali which cost 19$ and save some money.
Excellent taste.. we were visiting friends and wanted to try this place.. loved all the items in the thali.. we got both the Mini and the Unlimited lunch thalis(same items on both).. It was great! In addition, we also tried all their sweets, tat was good too! The folks who work there are so organized.. definitely must try place for anyone visiting CA.
You can get authentic gujrati thali here in SOCAL area. Food quality is great, just like home made food. Service is decent. Only few downsides are the waitimes which can be sometimes over 1hour depending on the party size and the price -I feel like 26$/thali is bit on the higher side for yhe variety of food they are providing. Overall must try once.
The thali was not that good. Too oily and spicy. It was like eating dorm food in college in India I realize you can't make food per person in such a place but it was really not very good. The dessert we had falooda and gulab jamun and they were ok. Would go any place south of here lots of other choices.
