I suspect the owner of The Clay Pot also owns Fruzberry, which means you can enjoy a meal there and conveniently add your frozen yogurt to your tab. 3. The place is clean. 4. They offer Hershey's chocolate syrup. I’m not sure if that’s a big deal, but I mention it because I’ve never paid attention to the syrup brand at Yogurtland. 5. The yogurt was never watery! Cons: 1. They don’t have mochi balls as a topping option. If that doesn't bother you, Fruzberry will likely be a good fit. 2. Fruzberry has fewer flavor options compared to Yogurtland. 3. The vibe at Fruzberry is a bit more subdued, attracting a calmer crowd. If you prefer a lively atmosphere and people-watching, Yogurtland might be more your style. 4. An employee closely monitored patrons to make sure we weren’t misusing the self-serve handles, which is a bit intense. They were concerned about preventing yogurt wastage and runniness. 5. A few yogurt machines were marked “out of order,” so I hope they get that sorted out soon. Overall, Fruzberry has its perks, but it might not be for everyone.
Pros: 1. Fruzberry tends to be less crowded compared to Yogurtland, so you can get your yogurt much faster. 2. It’s conveniently located in City Plaza, next to The Clay Pot, which I suspect is owned by the same person. This means you can enjoy a meal at The Clay Pot and then have some frozen yogurt, plus you can even add the yogurt to your bill from The Clay Pot. 3. It’s a clean establishment. 4. They offer Hershey's chocolate syrup, which is worth mentioning because I’m not sure what brand Yogurtland uses. I may be mistaken, but I believe Yogurtland’s syrups are often in semi-transparent tubes. 5. None of their yogurt was watery! Cons: 1. They don’t offer mochi balls as a topping option, which might be a dealbreaker for some. If you’re not a fan of mochi, then Fruzberry is likely a great choice for you. 2. Fruzberry has fewer flavor options compared to Yogurtland. 3. It seems to attract a more laid-back crowd, so if you enjoy people-watching, Yogurtland might be more your scene. 4. One of the employees was keeping a close eye on me and the other customers, ensuring we weren’t misusing the self-service yogurt handles. Apparently, if the handle isn’t placed correctly, the yogurt can waste or become runny. 5. I noticed some “out of order” signs on their yogurt machines, which I hope they address soon. Overall, Fruzberry has its perks, but it might not be for everyone.
