I have served the Kack Special with cattle and chickens and some falafel with a salad and Pita bread. The dining area is exceptionally small with only three tables, each two sitting. You are Halal
Amazing place, quality food, at a super low price, $4.99 for a falafel sandwich, you can't beat that anywhere in LA -ANYWHERE!!!
Very nice lady serving the Falafel. We went there directly from a strenuous hike. While she did our Falafels, she gave us a starter without cost. She probably saw how hungry we looked. Loved the portion size and the falafel. I love it! A feedback when you read this, increase the amount of your delicious white sauce just a little, just a few bites of the falafel was slightly dry.
--- Hey, want to join me? I recently discovered Falafel Shack, a relaxed new Mediterranean spot in my neighborhood that serves halal food. I came across their ad in the Pennysaver and was eager to try it out. Just ask the Kardashians—this place is the perfect definition of a "hole in the wall." With only three seats available, it's small but cozy! Placing my order was simple, thanks to the owner's daughter who helped me decide what to get. I asked her for her sandwich recommendations: falafel, chicken shawarma, or beef shawarma. After confirming I was a first-timer and hadn’t tried their falafel yet, she generously offered me a sample. I loved it, and after her suggestion, I went with the falafel sandwich. Most places would try to upsell me, but here she actually recommended the falafel sandwich, which was $2 cheaper—super appreciated! My falafel sandwich was packed with falafel, hummus, salad, pickles, tomatoes, onions, and tahini sauce all wrapped up in pita bread. It was incredibly tasty! The falafels were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the pickles added a nice crunch and brightness. When I asked about their garlic sauce, they mentioned it’s mixed in with the spread but also comes as a side. I was warned to use only a little, but I ignored that because I love bold flavors. It was fantastic! The garlic sauce packed a punch—almost like wasabi—and really cleared my sinuses. I slathered everything on my sandwich, along with a bit of their optional hot sauce. I enjoyed every bite and almost danced with joy after finishing my falafel sandwich—it was that good! The service was excellent; the daughter was super helpful. There's parking on a private lot, and the Falafel Shack is conveniently located next to a 7-Eleven. If you’re not careful while driving, you might easily miss this little gem in Artesia. I think I’ve found another local foodie spot! The prices are very reasonable, and I can’t wait to return to try more dishes from the menu. Maybe I’ll go for the beef shawarma or the tabbouleh since I’m a big fan of tabbouleh. Highly recommended! NOM, NOM, NOM, NOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Cozy family-owned spot with made-to-order dishes. If you're in the mood for delicious falafel, this place is fantastic. I was welcomed by the owner, who offered me a sample while I waited for my meal, which is prepared by her personally. I'll definitely be coming back!
