F. Mclintocks Saloon - Arroyo Grande

I visited the restaurant on Thursday, September 15th at 9:00 AM, and my experience was disappointing. The cookie had a gritty texture, which was unpleasant, and the sausage was undercooked. I’ve dined here several times before, but this visit was truly terrible.

I never take the time to write reviews, but this guaranteed the 5 minutes I will take. At noon the place was empty. I would have expected a decent service, as there were only 4 other tables. The tables were sticky, the menus were rough and it took us over an hour to get our food. A table that arrived long after us got her food in front of us, so I doubt it was due to deception. That was my first and last time at McLintocks. Spend your money elsewhere.

I celebrated my 60th birthday party there, and it was fantastic! The food was excellent, and the service was great, even considering that the waitress was new that day. The waitress who attended to us was phenomenal, just like the entire staff!

Yesterday with a friend. She had hard things in her salad that weren't food. My ribeye sandwich was at best subpar. doggy bread the shoering onions were only 1/2 cooked only soggy,The ribeye had a lot of gruel. Horseradish Sauce was barely there. I haven't been back for years because of the low quality of food. Very disturbing. That's why it's not busy. Service was good, the last time I went 5 years ago I actually had rancid tri tip on my salad.. I'm not going back. Horrible chefs just don't care about Arroyo Grande Location!!! Not for years. Doors on bathrooms are filthy someone clean this place!!!

My sirloin and eggs was DELICIOUS. Steak was seasoned and seared perfectly. Gravy for their bisquits and gravy tasted really good, and excellent portion for their two of everything breakfast. Small indoor seating with some fun animal heads on the wall and could see some outdoor seating with a pretty view of trees as well
