La Rumbla - Arrowtown

Delicious flavours. Staff extremely knowledgeable about allergens and flagged several things for us. GF not marked on menu but almost the whole menu can be done celiac safe. It can all be done GF.

On arrival I was made to feel safe/ great understanding of cc and nearly every item on the menu naturally gf. The homemade black sesame tortilla with Fresh salsa on arrival was amazing and the rest of the meal did not disappoint

I had a really good experience here. I mentioned coeliac disease in the reservation and they called ahead to confirm they’d prepare a separate fryer. They confirmed again about the fryer when I arrived and for every dish that came out they let me know it was safe or if there was a bit on a side plate that was not safe. All but 1 main could be made gluten-free and it was all delicious. Great wine selection too.

Knowledgeable waiter. Most things could be tweaked to be GF.

Friendly and helpful staff that explains which dishes could be made vegan and that the cook could make dishes for me. Portions really good sizes and the food very delicious.
