It was like being at the theatre, front row seats. the three chets moved like dancers, each in a different costume/headress. Orders arrived on the counter divided diners from the cooking area the counter was clinker-built to resemble a boat to be picked up by whichever chef was gliding past at that time. Then followed the selection of pot/pan/dish, the addition of various potions, flames rose, oils hissed, pots clanged and then cazme the plating up....now the chef became visual artist and the plate fillied like a canvas with flourishes and touches and garnishing until finally, the work of art complete, the chef rang the bell. A waited swished up to the counter and the dish was on its way to the lucky diner. we shared a steak the first night...a fillet mignon ....which was brought on a separate table to be carved by the very friendly, chatty and efficient waiter Alex from Columbia, S.A. . Each slice was placed with loving care and a lot of pride on the plate and the meal tasted a s good as it looked. We had starter garlic bread0, a jug of house red, our main course steak for two , and a giant ice cream shared and all for 48 euro. The bill came with two courtesy and tasty shots . We 'd have paid this to watch the 'grace under pressure ' in the open kitchen.Toilets were very impressive and the bodega bar leading onto the street where the church is located looked very inviting too. Seats were available outside also and these overlook the beautiful and buzzing harbour. This restaurant was soo good we went back again and we were jus as delighted the second night. This place deserves support. Value, atmosphere, courtesy, welcome, quality and that little bit extra that makes a meal special.
