Paris Bakery - Arlington

The Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious! My friend from Louisiana ordered it for my birthday as a surprise, and despite some car issues that caused me to be late for pickup, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of delicious cakes!

I contacted Paris Bakery to inquire about an Apricot Coffee Cake that they used to have on their shelves years ago. I learned that it had to be ordered as it was not included in their daily pastries. The man who runs the bakery was very accommodating and agreed to make an Apricot Coffee Cake for me, as well as a Cinnamon Coffee Cake. They were ready on the requested day and were truly works of art. My guests praised how beautiful they looked and raved about the unbelievable taste. I will definitely be returning. When I realized I had forgotten to get my daughter a birthday cake for her Christmas birthday, I took a chance and drove to Paris Bakery on Christmas Day. Fortunately, someone was working early that morning and they let me in to provide me with a birthday cake. The exceptional service I received that day has stayed with me all these years. I can't believe that a bakery would allow this cake to be sold. It was for my grandmother's 80th birthday party, and it was a very important occasion. When I asked the baker what the splotches were on the cake, he casually said, "Oh, it's fine. That's just where some icing color wasn't mixed properly. It will still taste okay." No discount was offered, and it was too late to find another bakery to make a new cake. I believe that a full refund would have been appropriate in this situation. The crack down the middle of the cake was not just in the icing - the entire cake was cracked and didn't slice well at all.

Place is fantastic but customer service is so poor. The tall guy with long hair is so rude that you almost want to leave the store. I thought it was a one time occurrence but this is the 3rd time it happens. Such a rude and bad vibe type of service from the guy.

Just got a young coconut filling birthday cake today, and I’m very disappointed. There is whipping cream that so liquid like and there is no young coconut in filling cream!!????? The cake itself was not soft and moist!!!!!!!
