フィードバックを提供するSuch a cozy little place. I'm sad that the bread and jam wasn't out but I'm sure it's because of covid. Update: bread and jam is back! The staff seem happy and proactive.
The operation at the switch took a while because it looks like there was only 1 person working the counter. The atmosphere is fine; it is a rustic place, and the fireplace is definitely beautiful. The food: My son ordered the quiche forum (which was fine, but not spectacular and a cup of cream of mushroom soup that looked more like oatmeal, and was quite bland. I had the strawberry Nutella Crepe, which tasted nasty. I can't say anything else. It was like the crepe isn't ready yet. Very doughy and mushy. A kind of chopped strawberry filling? I had two bites and couldn't eat any more. Yeah, the cutlery was very dirty, and one of our forks had some kind of food (? stuck. All in all: I am not impressed and will not be back.
I'm still waiting for my food. My rating is based on my experience until my meal. It was my first time in a la Madeline restaurant. There was no way to say which main door is from the outside. In fact, from the inside it seems that it should be the drawer that in my experience is almost never the main entrance. It wasn't clear if you sat down, but I did because I saw zero waiters everywhere. Not even wait for ten minutes. Finally I saw a customer go in the street and HE was greeted and told to stand a tray where to get food. I got a tray and I stood behind him. After a person made his plate for him, she asked about my order that was the chicken dish. Then she kind of looked at me and said, "THIS is the salad line. Go to order THERE.” After I came to another line, ordered and paid and while I got my own drink, the person who ranks me up to give me a huge wooden fork with an order. Well enough that you will unravel any normal, typical process related to food. But for the love of GOD ....post your unique process online if you will not have a host. Also stop asking for tips in the register when the guest will do everything BUT will cool their own food. Have you ever heard of creating an inclusive culture? Well. This AINT IT.
I like their the cinnamon on the Cappuccino. The croissant was cold, but I had good experience overall.Food: 5/5
The food is alright at this place, I usually have no issues, except when I order pickup my orders are never ready on time: I recommend dining in. Wish they had more gluten free options, such as gluten free bread for the sandwiches, it would open the menu up by so much for me.Also, they don't start making the soup till 11am.
