Baba - Arlington

The drinks at BaBa's restaurant did not match what was listed on their website. They are actually the same drinks as Ambar. I was disappointed by the lack of variety and the discrepancy between the website and the actual restaurant. The average price per person is $20–30.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, especially since it is in my neighborhood, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from the moment we walked in. We had to go upstairs to a different hostess to be seated, which was confusing. The hostess was rude and even called our reservation "annoying". When we finally got to our table, it was lopsided. The menu didn't have any of the drinks that were advertised online, which was the main reason we chose to dine there. It took 30 minutes for us to get a server, and even though we were tempted to leave, we decided to order. The drinks we ordered arrived quickly but tasted like they came from a can. We were glad to leave after paying our bill quickly. We ended up going to another bar nearby. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for quality. The service, food, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1. It was a disappointing experience, and I would have preferred eating at Applebee's. What happened to good service or at least mediocre service? The price per person is $10-20.

Vibe was great, drinks were terrible and overpriced! VERY limited selection of sub par cocktails. Staff was super unfriendly. The place would be great if they can fix these issues! For now I wouldn’t go back, there are much better drink options and friendlier staff at local establishments.

Was there last night. the place was beautiful. service was good. however, drink were terrible. vesper martini was watered-down. it was probably shaken. the rest were imbalance; either too sour or too much fruit juice (probably the reason why they can set the prices that way). it looks like they want this place to have speakeasy's feel. they should to hire better bartender. i didn't have food, but i believe it probably good since it is ambar's sister. i want to like this place, but the drinks were just too bad.
