This place is EXCELLENT! We read about it in our Rick Steve's book.
The service was unfortunately between unhelpful and arrogant. the price/performance ratio of the menu was in order. but just: if you don't feel like a hospitable.
Pass on the fact of nauseabond odors on the terrace (sewer,). Green beans salad too salted with excess sauce.... Absolutely fade beef pot, served with mayonnaise (??????) and an entire egg on it (mode effect ?), without seasoning. Chicken potatoes or big salt were in the vegetable. Only dessert saved that meal from a strike. Thankfully, nice waitresses. a not above all recommended (as well a few years ago, damage).
Bistro a cotearleschef jean luc Rabanel. Be careful not to miss entrance: you have the option to choose or a 2 star michelin restaurant or the simple bistro of the same chef Rabanel. Let's go for the second: typical local as many bistros in the beautiful setting of the city of arles, more Spanish than a Iberian city in the south of France. The kitchen is not: nothing typical, a food and wine route like a journey along the panamericana. Spanish style flavours revisited with rich touches of Mediterranean and French cuisine. Excellent selection of wines and finally the apotheosis of desserts: works of art to stimulate taste. In short, an emotion to share in two, a journey into flavors with an account close to 150 euros, fine wine and distillates of course included. The next door is doubled quietly.
