Fishermans Pier Fish Chip Van

The food at this restaurant is decent, with the chips being crispy, fluffy, and the burger being delicious. However, the chips were a bit oily and not very thick. There was a slight wait to place orders and pick up food, as there was only one person working in the van. The restaurant provides sun umbrellas for customers to use, which is a nice touch as there are not many places to find shade.

This restaurant lives up to its reputation, although the portions may not be the largest for the price. We arrived around 6:45 and did not have to wait long. The food was delicious. We ordered the smoked sausage with chips, battered fish, curry sauce, and a side of roasted vegetables. Everything was excellent, with crispy fish and chips that were especially tasty with the skin still on some of the potatoes.

If they like frozen fish freeze chips, this is the place to come! not great if they prefer fresh fish that is what 10 for a small fish chips is a demolished, these are the type of products and prices that scottland gets a bad call.

The fish and chips were excellent - not greasy and very delicious. We celebrated her birthday tonight with a glass of wine. The service was friendly. We will definitely be back before we leave.
