Merlan Balık Et - Ardesen

During lunchtime, while we were contemplating where to eat fish, we stumbled upon this restaurant at a gas station where we stopped to refuel. We decided to give it a try, and we were very pleased with the outcome. I absolutely loved the fish soup; I honestly didn't expect dill to pair so well with it. I think the fact that the soup is made solely from fish plays a significant role in its flavor. For our main dish, we opted for the mezegit fish. We received a mixed plate with mezigit and a small amount of red mullet. They were fresh and delicious, so I didn't mind the mix, but I was puzzled as to why there was even a small variety. However, the biggest surprise of the day came from the dessert: the rice pudding (sutlac). I had tried sutlac in Hamsiköy and thought it was good, but a bit heavy. The version made by Merlan was simply delightful. It had a very light sweetness, and not a single grain of rice was noticeable. It had the consistency of a creamy pudding and was extremely tasty. I highly recommend stopping by and trying it!

This restaurant is amazing and very professional. I ordered some delicious kebabs, Turkish coffee, sutlac (rice pudding), and salad. Everything was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
